1. About StatDec Hub

StatDec Hub is a trading name of WKG Legal Consultancy Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. StatDec Hub operates as a facilitation platform that connects clients with independent UK-qualified solicitors for the remote witnessing of statutory declarations, declarations of solvency, and affidavits via video call.

StatDec Hub is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The solicitors facilitated through this platform are independent practitioners and are not employees or agents of WKG Legal Consultancy Limited.

2. Services

StatDec Hub facilitates the following services:

  • Statutory Declaration witnessing
  • Declaration of Solvency (LIQ01) witnessing for Members' Voluntary Liquidation
  • Affidavit witnessing

All services are delivered remotely via secure video call. It is your sole responsibility to verify that a remotely-witnessed document is valid and appropriate for its intended purpose before booking.

3. Booking and Payment

By completing a booking and making payment, you agree to these Terms of Service. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. StatDec Hub does not store your card details.

All fees are as stated at the time of booking. Fees are fixed and inclusive of all charges unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment or failure to attend will not be eligible for a refund. To request a cancellation, email info@statdechub.co.uk quoting your booking reference.

5. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring the declaration document is prepared correctly before the appointment
  • Not signing the document prior to the video call — the solicitor must witness the signature live
  • Having a valid photo ID (passport or driving licence) available during the call
  • Ensuring you have a stable internet connection and working camera and microphone
  • Verifying that the witnessed document is suitable for your intended purpose

6. Limitation of Liability

StatDec Hub facilitates connections between clients and independent solicitors. We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of the solicitors facilitated through the platform. Our liability to you shall not exceed the fee paid for the booking in question.

We are not liable for any loss arising from the use of a witnessed document for an inappropriate purpose, or any failure by you to comply with your responsibilities as set out in section 5.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
